As my blog is a little delayed with launching I’m posting my first wedding taken on 21st August. Here are my favourite selection of images from the wedding also showcased in the clip seen above.

Amanda and James came all the way over to me from Oxfordshire for their engagement portrait shoot which turned out to be a lot of fun. They wanted me to take their photographs with their theme for the wedding which was…wait for it- rubber ducks! There are no deep meaningful reasons for their choice in choosing ducks apart from the fact that they just…like ducks!! Each table in their venue was named by a different breed of duck.

I have to say, when I turned up early to do a rekki at their venue Notley Tythe Barn in Aylesbury the morning of their wedding; I was pleasantly surprised to see how amazing the barn looked for their wedding. It was low key, lit with tiny little fairy lights and it just felt like something out of a fairy tale for some reason.
It was the perfect setting for a down to earth, fun loving couple that they are.

I ended up really having fun with them as they played croquet, joined in with the sack races and basically had a good laugh around the grounds.
Finishing the day with their first dance and then on to traditional gaelic dancing!

In the gallery you can click on the small icon images to see bigger versions. Make sure you click them again once loaded for it to work.
